Real estate continues to sell at a faster pace. Inventory is low and the average sales price for a home has risen--all positive signs for sellers. If your client is ready to list, here are a few tips to pass along:
1. Be flexible. Little things can push a buyer into the "yes" zone. If the buyer would like to close earlier and your new home is not ready or you are not sure where you are going, use a PODS container to store your belongings.
2. Clean up. One person's comic book collection is another person's cluttered nightmare. Declutter your home before you begin showing it. PODS containers work well to store collections that can distract buyers from seeing the true potential of a home.
3. Wash the windows- inside and out.
4. Clean your kitchen and bathrooms. Scrub like crazy, particularly the kitchen and bathrooms. De-clutter here too, especially countertop appliances, canisters, etc.
