We all know the old saying, “location, location location” when it comes to buying and selling homes but Realtor® Jeff White of Greensboro, North Carolina lists four factors by which two comparable houses are often judged:
Condition– In an area where two or more houses of the same size and price are put onto the market, the house in the best condition will probably sell first.
Price– If two or more houses in the same area that are the same size and condition, the house with the better price will probably sell first.
Size– If two or more homes in the same area are in the same condition and price range, the largest one will probably sell first.
Location– If two or more houses are put onto the market in the same area, have the same condition and price, the one with the best location will probably sell first.
Condition, location, marketing and price are four reasons why a house sells (or doesn’t) and are something to keep in mind when purchasing a home or putting your house up for sale.
